This was an included activity in a recent tour we done conducted by Aussie Outback Tours. If you are planning your own trip make sure you book this afternoon and night out for a sunset dinner. The venue was brilliant, the meal was superb and on our tour it even included drinks. The tour is conducted by family members and their knowledge of the area is outstanding. If this family are typical of the outback then we will be returning and also recommending a visit to all our friends.

Enjoyable few hours spent here and now have a much better understanding of life over a long period on an outback property, thanks to owner Lyn. The highlight was the walk to the top of the tower for fabulous 360 degree views.

On this tour we were given the opportunity to step inside the old homestead and hear of its history. It was a fabulous experience. The sunset dinner under the stars was delicious. The sticky date pudding dessert was the best we have ever had. This was the highlight of our outback tour to Longreach.

If you only do one thing in Longreach then a visit with the Walker’s of Camden Park Station should be it. This family venture includes visiting the homestead, family history by Dan and views & sunset by Mother nature. Seated around the artesian waterhole and watching the sunset was magic. Add to this great outback hospitality and bbq - a perfect night. Pre-dinner drinks & nibbles were lovely for socialising and you can climb the lookout tower for 360 views. Keen to go back for a daytime visit.
